I was lucky enough to be ‘prescribed’ 12 weeks of Slimming World by my GP via the Slimming World on Referral scheme but I was terrified of starting. Especially as I was joining 2 weeks before Christmas!

The whole group was so warm and welcoming and my Consultant Mel has been a constant source of inspiration and motivation. I have just weighed in for the 7th time and have lost a total of 1st 4½ lbs. I am astounded that I can eat so much and yet lose weight so effectively.

Your website and magazine give great support in between groups and I find myself looking forward to attending each week.
