If the best way to start the day is with a good breakfast (as they say!), then the best way to start the new year is with a fantastic, filling, and easy brunch.

If weight loss is in your sights for 2018, does that mean you have to miss out on your brunch favorites, or settle for a small portion? Not with Slimming World! Our style is to start the new year with a celebration of deliciously filling, healthy, everyday food—no “diet food” or deprivation here.

Here we have three recipes for brunch favorites—all made with filling foods you can find in any grocery store, all crowd-pleasers, and all on the table in less than 30 minutes.

Potato hash with fried egg—this diner classic is filled with what we call Free Food: food Slimming World members can enjoy in unlimited amounts. This includes the eggs, peppers, and potatoes, too—all filling foods that are low in energy density (calories) and great for weight loss.

Baked cinnamon French toast—swap the skillet for the oven for easier preparation, and no need for copious butter or oil. Pile high with berries and fat-free plain yogurt to make it extra-satisfying.

Saucy lemon crepes—fluffy, folded crepes with a drizzle of lemon sauce and a generous dollop of fat-free plain Greek yogurt are perfect for a leisurely New Year’s brunch.
