Takeout fakeout: spicy shrimp stir-fry

It’s the first Friday of 2018 (hurrah, we made it!) and, after a week back to the grind, the takeout menus are a-calling.

But what if you’re someone, like me, who resolved to eat healthier and save money in the new year? Luckily, Slimming World makes that super-easy and tasty with takeout-inspired recipes, like this spicy shrimp stir-fry.

This recipe is a great example of how to enjoy and cook with Free Food, the most important part of our healthy eating plan, called Food Optimizing. Free Food is everyday food you can find at any grocery store, and there’s no need to count, weigh, or measure it. That’s because Free Food is filling and low in energy density (calories for its weight). All the food in the stir-fry recipe is Free Food, so there’s no need to measure out portions—simply eat until you’re satisfied.
