Becoming active when you're ready

As your confidence grows and when the time’s right, get moving by making activity part of your daily routine. Every move counts, whether it’s walking the dog, biking to work, playing baseball with the kids or dancing to the beat.

If you’re planning to start a new exercise program, it’s always a good idea to check with your health care provider first—especially if you have an existing health condition such as high blood pressure or diabetes.
