Starting her career in trade magazines, Elise has worked on business, consumer and customer titles for Lloyd’s of London, IPC (now Time Inc.), and Redwood.
In 2007, she took up the editorship of Slimming World, the magazine of the U.K.’s leading slimming organization, Slimming World. Over the last nine years the independently-published title has enjoyed numerous consecutive year-on-year circulation rises, increasing by 124% overall, meaning it is now the U.K.’s fourth best-selling actively purchased magazine. Under Elise’s editorship, Slimming World has also picked up four prestigious awards from the U.K.’s Professional Publishers Association in the last two years. She now leads production of both the U.K. digital edition and U.S. magazine, A Taste of Slimming World, too.
