Fruity, filling and fuss-free, overnight oats are easy to make and worth the quick prep the night before. If you like softer oats, stir 1–2 tablespoons water into the plain yogurt before layering it with the oats; for firmer oats, add no water.
⅓ level cup old-fashioned or quick oats
½ cup fat-free plain yogurt
Mixed blueberries, sliced or diced strawberries and raspberries
- Layer the oats, yogurt and berries in a jar or bowl, finishing with a layer of the yogurt. Cover and refrigerate overnight so the oats have a chance to soften.
- In the morning stir so all the layers are mixed together and top with more fruit.
