Slow-cooker Dr. Pepper pork chops

If you love Dr. Pepper and fork-tender meat then this one-pot pork chop recipe is a must. Add steamed sugar-snap peas or fresh green beans and a colorful salad to round out the meal.

4-6 thick-cut boneless pork chops, trimmed of all visible fat
3 bell peppers, assorted colors, seeded and sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 can diet Dr. Pepper
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce


  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper to taste and place in a slow cooker. Add the bell peppers and onion.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Dr. Pepper, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce, then pour into the slow cooker and stir until mixed.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chops are fork-tender.
  4. Serve hot, with the veg of your choice.
